FAQs

Fees depend on the number of documents and the complexity of the matter. I am always happy to provide a quote.  I may need you to email copies of the documents and requirements to me to provide an estimate, but I can sometimes provide a quote over the phone.  I have a vast amount of knowledge and experience of the types of documents that require notarisation, so I have usually come across them beforehand.

You do need to book an appointment, but you can do this through my easy-to-use booking App. or over the telephone.

Generally, I will always need to see your passport and some proof of address.  Sometimes I may need additional documentation, but I will always advise you beforehand, provided I have been given the instructions from the receiving jurisdiction.

I can print your documents for you.

Yes, all Notaries are Commissioners for Oaths.

I work from my home office so you can park either on my drive, or outside my house.

My office is located a 5 minute walk from the bus stop bringing buses in from Birmingham or Lichfield and Walsall.  I am about a10 minute walk from the Tamworth bus stop. Alternatively, I am a 15 minute walk from Four Oaks train station for trains to and from Lichfield and Birmingham.

This really depends on the document and type of requirements. Some documents can be verified remotely. I will be happy to discuss your requirements with you.

It does not matter if your document is not in English.  Provided you can show to me that you understand the document clearly, I can deal with it.  We can also obtain translations if required.
