Congratulations! You’ve successfully landed your dream job in the State of Qatar, and you can’t wait to start. However, before you begin your new adventure, you must navigate the tricky issue of visa paperwork.
The guidance from your employer can sometimes be complicated, and the advice available may be limited. That’s where I come in as your experienced Notary Public.
I have helped countless professionals—including doctors, nurses, teachers, engineers, and veterinary nurses—gather their legal paperwork for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar. Here’s how I can assist you through the four-stage process:
The Four-Stage Process
- Document Verification: I will verify your documents with the issuing authority, such as your university or employer.
- Notarization: After verification, I will notarize your documents.
- Apostille Process: I will send your documents to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office for Apostilles.
- Consular Legalisation: Finally, I will send the notarized documents to the Embassy of the State of Qatar for consular legalisation.
Once all these steps are completed, your documents will be returned to you, ready to present to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar.
What Documents Will You Need?
Typically, the required documents include:
- Degree certificate
- Transcript
- ACRO (Police Check)
- Marriage certificate (if applicable)
- Birth certificates for any children
Important Note: Only documents issued within the United Kingdom will be accepted. Documents issued in other jurisdictions must be legalized in the issuing country.
Key Document: Study Status Letter
One crucial document required by the Embassy of the State of Qatar is the Study Status Letter from your university. This letter must detail:
- The mode of study: full-time or part-time
- The type of study: distance learning (E-Learning) or face-to-face learning (on-campus)
- Location of study
- Location of examinations
- Actual dates of study (start date and end date)
